Answers, Etc. Opens Pacific Northwest Office to Develop Internet Lending Solution

On June 1, 2007, Answers opened a Vancouver, WA branch and officially kicked off development of a new internet lending product. The Northwest location will be the facility for Answers to develop, market, sell, and support the PowerCheck Web Internet Lending Module. This piece will allow customers to seamlessly add online lending to their existing brick-and-mortar operation, or accommodate online-only merchants.

President Scott Merritt states: “The PowerCheck Web Internet Lending Module will be a fusion of web-based technologies with our existing loan engine, PowerCheck32. Our customers will have the ability to customize their own front-end web page, design and modify underwriting criteria, configure and employ powerful 3rd party data scrubbing tools, and fund transactions electronically. This marriage of technologies will allow merchants to capture the internet loan business while retaining the proven, rock-solid foundation of PowerCheck32.”

According to VP Kyle Silcox, “The internet lending module will provide for an efficient, straightforward system that will allow merchants to safely conduct online transactions – often with no human intervention, if desired. The addition of the product to our lineup should further our well-established market penetration, providing a much broader reach to potential clients nation-wide.”
